I saw this picture and just loved it. As it came from Instagram with no real source, I could not find a better quality to it, but I thought that you would all appreciate it as it really shows just how different soles can be. These ones are all by Stefano Bemer one of the most reputable shoemakers I hope to meet someday... The rubber sole on the right is probably one of the best sole a man could ever walk in, as much as I know, the underlay is laid carefully so as to keep temperatures at a balance ( even if its worn during a very sunny day, rather than your feet heating up and leaving it sweaty, it keeps the sun out thus your feet still in a mild temperature, as though you were just in the wee hours of the morning) but my favorite one is the one with the black waist and the criss-cross oval in the forefoot. Soooooo cool! Anyway, each sole has a soul, or at least was created by someone else’s soul and I always appreciate seeing the different ideas that people come up with to cover the most worn part of the shoe. Maybe you will now start to enjoy them as much as I will?…..
